Primul film Marvel cu o supereroină în centrul atenției ne-o arată pe Carol Danvers, o pământeancă ce preia structura genetică a iubitului ei Captain Mar-vell în urma unui accident distrugător. Colaboratoare a Răzbunătorilor și a Gardienilor galaxiei în cărțile de benzi desenate, Carol Danvers va fi în stare să-l urmărească până la capătul Universului pe Yon-Rogg, comandantul Kree, cel care a provocat accidentul.
